Building Strong Parent-Child Relationships

My journey in supporting families began in 2010 as a Parent Educator. Teaching the Common Sense Parenting curriculum instilled the importance of positive reinforcement and coping skills in parents and children.

In 2017, I expanded my knowledge with the Nurturing Parenting Program, an evidence-based approach ideal for at-risk families. Witnessing the impact of these tools on families facing challenges solidified my passion for this work.

As a parent myself (since 2012), I understand the unique challenges of navigating parenthood, even with a strong foundation. Becoming a stepparent and raising a neurodivergent child highlighted areas my curriculum hadn’t covered. This fueled my desire to learn more, devouring books, seeking advice, and continuously expanding my knowledge base. The arrival of our youngest in 2021 further ignited my passion for child development.

Today, I possess a wealth of knowledge on child development, parenting styles, communication, and discipline. This, combined with my experience as a Parent Educator and a mother, allows me to offer a unique perspective and a comprehensive set of tools to support families.

My mission: Help families thrive together by fostering strong, positive parent-child relationships.

With this extensive experience, I’m now transitioning to become a Parenting Coach. My goal is to empower families of all backgrounds to thrive together. I believe the parent-child relationship is the foundation for a child’s well-being, and I’m dedicated to providing the tools and support to nurture that bond.

What sets me apart?

  • Extensive Knowledge: My background combines formal education (curriculum expertise) with ongoing research on child development and parenting styles.
  • Real-World Experience: I understand the complexities of parenthood from both professional and personal perspectives, including navigating step-parenting and neurodiversity.
  • Passion for Support: I’m dedicated to helping families build positive, healthy relationships with their children.

Are you ready to create a thriving family environment? Let’s connect!
